- 8 MCs per bracket (organizers may adjust by entries)
- First MC to 7 round wins takes Champion
- Lao language primary; code-switching allowed per house rules
Rules & Eligibility
Lao nationality or Lao-resident MCs only — verified at registration. No pre-written verses for battle rounds unless announced. Respectful conduct required; hate speech or personal attacks beyond battle norms may lead to disqualification. Beat selection via DJ; round length set by host MC.
Judging Criteria
Flow — rhythm, cadence, and pocket
Lyrics — wordplay, metaphors, and punchlines
Delivery — tone, clarity, and performance
Crowd reaction — energy and round-winning presence
